Product Questions & Answers (3)

Question by: Norm H on Aug 18, 2025, 8:57 PM
What kind of pressure can this elbow hold up to, and is it rated for NPTF threading on both ends?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 20, 2025, 6:56 AM
Rated at 5,000 PSI maximum dynamic pressure, this forged steel elbow handles demanding hydraulic and fluid systems without issue. Both connections are NPTF threaded at 1/2-14 and built to SAE J476 spec. One end is male, the other female, which is standard street elbow configuration. That dry-seal thread design on both sides helps keep fluid from working its way past the connection over time.
Question by: Ricky J on Nov 13, 2025, 6:51 AM
got a 1/2-14 NPTF male port and need to turn the line 90 degrees, is this the right elbow for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 14, 2025, 1:59 PM
For a 90 degree turn with 1/2-14 NPTF threads, this fitting matches up as a street elbow with a male NPTF on one end (B1) and a female NPTF on the other (B2), both 1/2-14, built to SAE J476.
