Constructed from straight stainless steel, the Brennan 12MP-08FP 90 Street Elbow Stnls is a 90-degree street elbow designed for demanding hydraulic and industrial fluid systems rated up to 5,000 PSI dynamic pressure. The reducer configuration connects a 3/4-14 male NPTF thread to a 1/2-14 female NPTF thread, with both ends conforming to SAE J476, making it suitable for secure, leak-resistant connections in high-pressure environments.

Stainless steel construction supports use in corrosive or wash-down environments where carbon steel fittings would be unsuitable. Part of Brennan's 5502-FG series, this fitting is a compact solution for directional changes in tight installations where a standard elbow and nipple combination would not fit. California residents should note this product carries a Prop 65 warning.

Does this fitting need any kind of sealant or tape when you're putting it together?

This elbow uses NPTF threads, which are designed to create a leak-resistant seal without needing tape or sealant. Just make sure everything's clean and tight.
