Designed for hydraulic fluid transfer across agricultural, construction, and in-plant manufacturing equipment, this 1/4 in. carbon steel quick disconnect coupling socket from Eaton's Hansen 5600 Series provides reliable, tool-free connection and disconnection in demanding field and facility environments. A ball lock internal mechanism and push-to-connect end type allow fast coupling without special tooling, while the 2-way valve design supports controlled fluid flow in both directions.
The Danfoss / Eaton Coupling carries ISO 7241-1 Series A certification and exceeds ISO 16028 operating pressure requirements, making it well-suited for use on dump trucks, snow plows, and maintenance vehicles where connection integrity under pressure is critical. The female NPT port on the secondary end accommodates standard hydraulic fittings, and Buna-N seals provide broad fluid compatibility across common hydraulic media. Rated for operation down to -40°F, the coupling maintains performance in cold-weather service conditions.

does this coupling work with a 1/4 inch NPT port? trying to figure out if it'll thread right into what i already got on my dump trailer
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 31, 2025, 6:43 AM
The socket end on this coupling is a 1/4 inch NPT female connection, so it'll thread directly into a 1/4 inch NPT port without any adapters in between. The push-to-connect end handles the quick disconnect side, so once the NPT end is threaded in, connecting and disconnecting the line is tool-free from that point on.
