Question by: Wade G on Jul 9, 2025, 8:29 PM
Will this thing hold up on my dump truck for hydraulic fluid transfer?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 11, 2025, 6:19 AM
It's designed for hydraulic fluid transfer, along with use on agricultural and construction equipment, including in-plant manufacturing, dump trucks, snow plows, and maintenance vehicles, so it should be a good fit.
Question by: Travis J on Apr 26, 2025, 10:59 AM
got a dump truck that needs a new quick disconnect on the hydraulic line, this a female half only or does it come with both ends?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 28, 2025, 6:49 AM
Just the female half (socket) is included with this one. It's a -16 coupling with a 1-11-1/2 NPT female pipe thread, so you'd need to source the male half separately if you don't already have one in your system. The PUSH-PULL ball latch design on this side handles the connection and disconnection, and the self-sealing poppet valve closes off the line when it's disconnected to keep fluid loss to a minimum.
