The 5600 Series Industrial Interchange Quick Disconnect Male Half -04 Coupling 1/8-27 Female Pipe from Danfoss Power Solutions is engineered for hydraulic fluid transfer in agricultural and construction equipment. Featuring a push-pull ball latch design it ensures swift and effortless connection and disconnection of fluid lines.

Its self-sealing poppet valve guarantees outstanding high and low-pressure sealing capabilities. The coupling conforms dimensionally to ISO standard 7241/1 Series A ensuring compatibility and reliability.

The streamlined valving design minimizes pressure drop. With standard seal materials including Buna-N EPR and Vitonreg; as well as a zinc plated steel body with brass poppet guide in the -04 size this product assures durability and efficient performance.

Will this here fitting work with a standard hydraulic setup on my tractor?

For hydraulic fluid transfer, this male half quick disconnect is commonly used in agricultural equipment. It's built to the ISO 7241/1 Series A standard, so it should be compatible with other parts made to that spec.

does this thing work with a standard 1/8 NPT female port, or do I need some kind of adapter to hook it up?

The male half threads directly into a 1/8-27 female pipe thread port, so no adapter needed if your equipment already has that size. The -04 coupling size lines up with that thread spec, and the push-pull ball latch handles the fluid line connection on the other end. Pretty straightforward swap if you're replacing an existing fitting in that size.
