Machined from straight brass stock, the 04MP-04FP-04FP Street Tee Brass is a compact three-port fitting designed for 1/4 in. NPTF thread connections conforming to SAE J476. The run ports consist of one male NPTF and one female NPTF end, with a second female NPTF branch port, all sized at 1/4-18 and drilled to 0.281 in. This street tee configuration eliminates the need for an additional nipple on the male run end, reducing overall assembly length in tight installations.

Part of Brennan Industries' Series 5602, this fitting suits hydraulic and fluid conveyance assemblies where a compact inline branch connection is required. The brass construction offers good corrosion resistance and compatibility with a range of hydraulic fluids and gases. Centerline dimensions are 1.090 in. and 0.880 in. respectively, with an overall length of 0.880 in. California residents should note that this product is subject to Proposition 65 warnings.

Does this fitting need any kinda sealant or tape when I screw it in?

Because the threads are NPTF, which stands for National Pipe Taper Fuel, a sealant is generally recommended to ensure a leak-proof connection. Teflon tape or pipe dope works well.
