DANFOSS / EATON COUPLINGS - CODE

Description & Features

Designed for hydraulic fluid transfer across agricultural, construction, and in-plant manufacturing equipment, this carbon steel male half plug connects via a push-to-connect interface on one end and a 1/2" NPT female port on the other. Ball lock internals and a 2-way valve design provide reliable, leak-resistant engagement and disengagement without requiring special tools.

The Danfoss / Eaton Hansen 5600 Series Quick Disconnect Couplings Plug carries ISO 7241-1 Series A certification and is rated for a maximum flow of 12 gallons per minute. EPDM seals support compatibility with a broad range of hydraulic fluids, and the coupling is rated for operation down to -40°F, well suited for dump trucks, snow plows, and maintenance vehicles operating in cold environments. Working pressures exceed ISO 16028 requirements.

Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Norm G on Jan 9, 2026, 2:17 PM
Reckon this'd work for hooking up a hydraulic snowplow on my truck? Cold winters here, ya know.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 10, 2026, 5:32 PM
Application in snowplows is supported, and the EPDM seals are rated for operation down to -40°F, so it should hold up just fine in cold weather.
