Vickers KFDG4V 3 2C28S Z

Description & Features

Designed for precision flow control across demanding industrial environments, the Vickers KFDG4V 3 2C28S Z is a direct-acting proportional valve rated at 28 litres per minute. It is available in three performance levels, ultra, high, and standard, making it adaptable to a broad range of application requirements without requiring custom configuration.

Plug-and-play functionality reduces commissioning time, and Buna-N seals support compatibility with common hydraulic fluids. Suitable for use in machine tool, press, marine/offshore, die casting and foundry, primary metal and paper, test equipment and simulation, and turbine control applications including wind, steam, and water turbines.

Question by: Wade W on Oct 19, 2025, 4:17 PM
we run a lot of press and machine tool equipment and been looking at proportional valves to tighten up flow control, does this one come in different grades or is it just one spec fits all?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 21, 2025, 12:15 PM
Three performance levels are available: ultra, high, and standard. That range covers a pretty wide spread of application demands without needing to go the custom route, so whether you're running tighter tolerances on a machine tool or something a little less demanding on a press line, there's likely a fit in there for you.
Question by: Peggy P on Aug 27, 2025, 4:11 PM
Can this handle turbine control, like for a windmill or something?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 29, 2025, 2:28 PM
Yes, this Vickers valve is suitable for turbine control applications, including wind, steam, and water turbines. It's also used in stuff like machine tools and die casting, so it's pretty versatile.
