What kinda machines is this flow control valve typically used on? My combine's acting up.

Generally, these Vickers flow control valves find application in mobile and industrial systems, including harvesters like your combine, as well as refuse haulers.
Question by: Curt F on Mar 23, 2026, 4:28 PM
Running a refuse hauler and need a flow restrictor that can hold up to some serious pressure. Does this valve handle 5000 psi without any problems?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 25, 2026, 12:25 PM
At 350 bar, which works out to right around 5000 psi, this unit sits at the upper end of what most mobile hydraulic systems demand. Refuse hauler duty cycles put a lot of stress on components, but the FCV6-16 is built to handle that kind of pressure without being oversized or complicated to fit into a tight hydraulic connections layout.
