08MP-08MPS 90 ELB FORG

Description & Features

Forged from steel, this 90-degree elbow fitting delivers a right-angle directional change in hydraulic and industrial fluid line assemblies. Both connection points conform to SAE J476 and use 1/2-14 Male NPTF threads, the fixed end is a standard male NPTF connection, while the swivel end provides rotational flexibility during installation and positioning. The swivel configuration makes this fitting particularly practical in tight or constrained assemblies where alignment can be difficult to achieve with fixed fittings.

The 08MP-08MPS 90 ELB Forg is part of Brennan Industries' 5700-FG series. Steel forging construction provides the structural integrity expected in demanding fluid power environments. Overall length is 2.027 inches, with a centerline length of 1.490 inches and a hex size of 0.937 inches across. California residents should note that this product is subject to a Prop 65 warning.

got a tight spot on a hydraulic line, does this elbow have a swivel end so i can clock it where i need it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 4, 2026, 1:34 PM
With one fixed male NPTF end and one male NPTF swivel end, you can rotate the swivel side during install to get your alignment right without having to fight the whole fitting.

Will this fitting work alright for hydraulic fluid, or is it more for something else?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 2, 2026, 10:00 AM
This 90-degree elbow is forged from steel, providing the structural strength needed for demanding hydraulic and industrial fluid applications.
Question by: Floyd P on Feb 18, 2026, 9:27 AM
both ends on this fitting are 1/2-14 NPTF, that right? just want to make sure before I go ordering a bunch of em
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 20, 2026, 6:03 AM
Correct on both counts. One end is a standard male NPTF connection and the other is a male NPTF swivel, and both are 1/2-14 thread size conforming to SAE J476. The swivel end is what sets this fitting apart since it lets you rotate during installation without fighting the line to get alignment right.
