Is this the left-hand rotation version of the 45VQ47A, or do I need to double-check that before ordering?

Left-hand rotation is confirmed on this one. The "LH" in the designation tells you the pump shaft turns counterclockwise when viewed from the shaft end, so if your system is set up for LH rotation, you're good to go with this unit.
