does this motor need an external case drain line or is it alright runnin without one?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 30, 2025, 11:53 AM
At or below 1000 PSI back pressure, no external case drain is needed. Once you're running continuous back pressure above 1000 PSI though, you'll want to add an external case drain line. When you do, make sure the line is installed so the motor case stays full of fluid at all times. Running it dry even briefly can shorten the motor's life pretty quick.

got a motor with 1-5/16-12 o-ring ports already on the machine, is that what this one uses or am i gonna be fighting adapters
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 19, 2026, 4:43 PM
Porting on this motor is 1.3125-12 UN-2B SAE O-Ring with staggered ports, also called 1-5/16-12 straight thread O-ring. If your hoses and fittings are already set up for SAE O-ring boss in that size, it should match up without needing adapters.
