The Danfoss Power Solutions II LLC (Char-Lynn) 6000 Series Geroler Motor offers a displacement of 23.90 cu in/rev and features a 4 bolt SAE C mounting flange. Its 1-1/2 in. straight keyed shaft and 1-5/16-12 SAE O-ring ports ensure reliable performance in demanding applications such as mobile equipment snow removal mowing sprayers trenchers and wood products.
Highly efficient with low-pressure drop the motor provides significant energy savings. The design features standard wheel or bearingless configurations to meet diverse operational needs. This motor operates efficiently with a torque rating of 1155 newton-metres making it suitable for heavy-duty tasks.
The recommended hydraulic fluid is of premium quality anti-wear type with a viscosity range of 100-200 SUS for optimal performance. To maximize motor life a recommended break-in period involves running the motor for an hour at 30% of the rated pressure. The maximum case pressure is 1000 PSI and the motor requires appropriate filtration as per ISO cleanliness code level 18/13.
Maximum operating temperature should not exceed 180F to maintain performance and longevity.

Will this motor hold up okay for running a small wood splitter?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 6, 2025, 8:53 AM
This 6000 Series Geroler motor works great in wood product applications, so it should be well-suited for a small wood splitter. Just make sure you're using a premium anti-wear hydraulic fluid, and give it a good break-in period.
Question by: Lance B on Jan 25, 2026, 8:09 PM
what kind of hydraulic fluid does this motor need, and is there a viscosity range I should be staying in?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 27, 2026, 7:27 AM
Premium quality anti-wear hydraulic fluid is what you want running through it. For viscosity, the recommended range is 100 to 200 SUS, though the minimum at operating temperature is 70 SUS. Staying within that range keeps the internal components protected and the motor running the way it's supposed to.
Question by: Roy M on Dec 7, 2025, 1:04 PM
got a motor mount already drilled for a 4 bolt SAE C. is this one the right flange pattern?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 9, 2025, 6:30 AM
Mounting comes set up as a 4 bolt SAE C flange, so it matches equipment drilled for that SAE C 4 bolt pattern.
