Description & Features

A swivel-type male connector from Stauff Corporation, the FI-GE-10S1/4N-W3-MS is a hydraulic fitting engineered for use in fluid power systems where reliable, leak-resistant connections are required. The FI-GE series designation indicates a swivel configuration with a 1/4" thread, making it well-suited for hydraulic line assemblies in industrial machinery and equipment where compact fittings must maintain consistent performance under working conditions.

Manufactured to Stauff's engineering standards, this fitting is appropriate for integration into hydraulic circuits requiring dependable male connector interfaces. Its design supports secure, articulating connections that help accommodate alignment during assembly and service.

Question by: Patty E on Jul 24, 2025, 8:11 AM
swivel fitting with a 1/4" thread, is that what this Stauff piece is, or am I reading the part number wrong?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 26, 2025, 6:50 AM
You're reading it right. The FI-GE series on this fitting tells you it's a swivel-type male connector, and the 1/4N in the part number confirms the 1/4" thread. That swivel configuration is what makes it useful when your line and port don't line up perfectly during assembly. Stauff built this one for hydraulic fluid power circuits where you need a secure male connection that can still rotate enough to seat cleanly without fighting the assembly.

Reckon this fitting will work alright in a hydraulic setup for some heavy machinery? Just want to make sure it's up to snuff.

Designed for fluid power systems, the FI-GE-10S1/4N-W3-MS from Stauff is made to give you a leak-resistant connection in those setups. You should find it's reliable enough for most industrial jobs.
