VICKERS PCGV 6A 1 10

Description & Features

Designed for demanding hydraulic circuits, the Vickers PCGV 6A 1 10 is a pilot-operated check valve built to maintain stable pressure and prevent uncontrolled backflow. Buna-N seals provide reliable sealing performance across a broad range of hydraulic fluids, and the valve is rated for flow up to 150 litres per minute.

Suited to heavy-duty industrial environments, this valve sees use in press systems, machine tool circuits, die casting and foundry equipment, primary metal processing, marine and offshore installations, turbine control systems, and test and simulation equipment. Minimal maintenance requirements make it a practical choice where reliability and uptime matter.

Alternate part number: PCGV6A110.

Question by: Glen W on Jun 9, 2025, 4:49 PM
flow rate on this check valve -- is 150 liters per minute enough for press applications or is that gonna be cutting it close?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 11, 2025, 12:55 PM
For most press setups, 150 liters per minute is a solid working figure and lines up well with what the PCGV-6 is built to handle. Press applications are listed right in its intended use cases, so you're not pushing it into territory it wasn't meant for. If your system is running demand spikes well above that threshold, you'd want to size accordingly, but for standard press circuits this valve sits comfortably in range.
