Question by: Jean J on Jan 9, 2026, 1:04 PM
both ends are female on this one, right? trying to connect two hose lines together without a male fitting in between
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 10, 2026, 2:16 PM
Correct on both counts. Both ends are female, and the union configuration lets you join two lines without needing a male fitting in the middle. It's a 1/4-inch connection on each side, so as long as your hoses or tubes match that size, you're looking at a straightforward inline union setup. Brass construction throughout, and it's rated for instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic use.
Question by: Lynn M on Jun 29, 2025, 7:10 PM
Will this Eaton fitting hold up to hydraulic use, or is it more for like, air lines and stuff?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 1, 2025, 1:19 PM
Designed for instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, these Eaton Aeroquip adapters are rated for higher operating pressures than even SAE standards require.
