Union Tee

Description & Features

Constructed from brass, this Eaton Aeroquip Union Tee is designed for use in instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems where a reliable three-way tube connection is required. Two ends accept 5/16 in. line or hose tube connections, while the third is a 1/2 in. SAE male fitting, giving it flexibility across mixed-size circuit configurations.

Dura-Kote plating provides corrosion resistance suited to demanding service environments, and the fitting is rated to operate at pressures above standard SAE thresholds. A minimum working temperature rating of -65°F makes it suitable for cold-environment applications. As part of Aeroquip's broad adapter range, this tee is available within a product family offering hundreds of fitting styles to support varied system layouts.

Question by: Daryl M on Apr 15, 2025, 4:16 PM
Will this tee work for connecting lines in a hydraulic system?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 17, 2025, 11:52 AM
It's designed for instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, so it should work for hydraulic lines.
Question by: Curt E on Mar 12, 2026, 4:02 PM
what's the difference in size between the two line ends and the third port on this tee? trying to figure out if it'll work in my setup before I order.
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 14, 2026, 6:56 AM
Two of the ports are 5/16 inch and the third port runs at 1/2 inch, so you've got a reducing configuration rather than a straight equal-size tee. That size difference matters when you're routing flow from a larger line into two smaller ones, or combining two smaller feeds into a single half-inch run. Worth mapping that out against your existing fittings before pulling the trigger.
