got a 6500-12-08 elbow on the truck now. is this 6500-12-08-FG the same thing or am i gonna get burned on threads

Same basic fitting. 6500-12-08-FG is a 6500-FG series forged 90 degree elbow with a #12 Male JIC SAE 37 degree flare on one end and a #8 Female JIC swivel 37 degree flare on the other. It also lists 6500-12-08 and C1BX71 as alternate part numbers.
