got a 3/4-16 jic hose end, will this elbow match up or am i off a size
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 17, 2025, 6:49 AM
Both ends on this elbow are 3/4-16 JIC per SAE J514. One side is a male JIC SAE 37 degree flare and the other side is a female JIC swivel 37 degree flare, so it matches standard 37 degree JIC flare connections in that thread size.

What kind of steel is this elbow made from?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 3, 2025, 1:00 PM
This fitting is made from forged steel, which enhances its durability and reliability in demanding environments.
Question by: Rod P on Sep 18, 2025, 10:00 AM
Thread size on both ends is 3/4-16, that right? Got a line I'm trying to route around a tight corner and need to make sure this'll mate up clean on both sides.
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 19, 2025, 12:22 PM
Both ends are 3/4-16, so you're good there. One end is a male JIC with the standard SAE 37-degree flare, and the other is a female JIC swivel with the same 37-degree flare angle. Both conform to SAE J514, so as long as your existing fittings and hose ends are spec'd to match, the connection should seat properly. The swivel on the female end also gives you some wiggle room during final tightening, which helps a lot when you're working in a tight spot.
