Does this adapter go from NPTF on one end to JIC on the other, or are both ends the same type?

Two different thread types here. One end is a 3/4-14 Female NPTF, which follows SAE J476. The other end is a 1-1/16-12 Female JIC Swivel with a 37 degree flare, built to SAE J514. So yeah, it bridges those two thread standards in a straight configuration.

trying to hook a JIC hose end to an NPT port, is this the right adapter or am i missing something
