06FJS-06FJS Straight

Description & Features

Designed for union-style connections in hydraulic lines, the 06FJS-06FJS Straight is a steel straight adapter fitting that joins two female JIC swivel ends in a single inline body. Both ports feature 9/16-18 threads with a 37-degree flare seat, conforming to SAE J514, making this fitting well-suited for use with standard JIC hose ends and tube assemblies.

Manufactured from steel, this fitting is part of Brennan Industries' Series 6565. The swivel design on both ends allows for easier assembly and alignment without twisting the connected hose or tubing. With an overall length of 1.550 inches and a hex size of 0.688 inches on each end, the compact profile fits standard wrench tooling and suits installations where space is limited.

both ends are female JIC swivel on this one, right? just want to make sure before i order -- need to connect two male JIC ends on my hose assembly
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 4, 2025, 6:28 AM
Correct on both counts. Each port on this fitting is a female JIC swivel with a 9/16-18 thread and a 37-degree flare seat, so it'll mate up to standard male JIC ends on both sides. The swivel feature on each end means you can thread it onto both connections without having to rotate the hose or tube to get things lined up, which saves a good bit of grief during assembly.

got two hoses with 9/16-18 female JIC swivels on the ends. is this the piece that ties em together straight?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 4, 2025, 6:58 AM
For joining two female JIC swivel ends inline, this fitting is built exactly for that. Both sides are female JIC swivel with 9/16-18 threads and a 37 degree flare seat to SAE J514, so it matches standard JIC hose ends and tube assemblies that use that same 37 degree flare.

So this thing just connects two hoses together, right?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 19, 2025, 12:03 PM
That's right. This straight adapter fitting is designed to join two female JIC swivel ends in your hydraulic lines, making a single, inline connection.
