Danfoss / Eaton Brass Adapter

Description & Features

Constructed from brass with a straight adapter configuration, the Danfoss / Eaton Brass Adapter connects a 1/8" NPTF female thread to a 1/8" hose, pipe, or tube female end, making it a practical solution for instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic system connections. The 0.375" hex size allows for standard wrench engagement during installation.

Manufactured under the Eaton Aeroquip brand and certified to SAE 060103BA, this fitting features Dura-Kote plating for corrosion resistance and is rated for operating pressures above standard SAE thresholds. A minimum working temperature of -65°F makes it suitable for demanding environmental conditions. Aeroquip's broad product range offers design flexibility across hundreds of styles for varied system configurations.

Question by: Duane C on Sep 14, 2025, 7:52 PM
what kind of corrosion protection does this adapter have? asking because we run a lot of wet environments and fittings rust out on us faster than we'd like
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 16, 2025, 6:00 AM
Brass construction already holds up better than carbon steel in damp conditions, and on top of that this adapter carries Dura-Kote plating, which is built specifically to push corrosion resistance above what standard fittings offer. For wet or humid environments where ordinary fittings fail early, that combination tends to hold up considerably longer.

I need somethin' that can handle hydraulic stuff but also work with some pneumatic lines. Will this adapter do both?

This Eaton Aeroquip adapter is made for instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, so it should fit your needs.
