Is this elbow made outta strong stuff for tough jobs?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 28, 2025, 6:32 PM
it's forged from steel, so it's durable and can handle high-pressure applications.
Question by: Chad P on Oct 7, 2025, 9:55 AM
what's the pressure rating on this elbow, and is it gonna hold up in a high-pressure hydraulic line?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 9, 2025, 6:01 AM
Rated at 6,000 psi maximum dynamic pressure, it's built for demanding hydraulic systems. The forged steel construction backs that rating up with solid material integrity, so it's not a lightweight fitting by any stretch. As long as your line pressure stays within that 6,000 psi ceiling, you're in good shape.
Question by: Brenda C on Mar 7, 2026, 10:55 AM
trying to replace a fitting, is this one the 9/16-18 JIC on one end and 1/2-20 ORB on the other?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 8, 2026, 3:03 PM
The B1 end is a Male JIC SAE 37 degree flare thread in 9/16-18, and the B2 end is a Male SAE adjustable O-ring boss thread in 1/2-20. It uses an NBR O-ring on the ORB side and both thread forms are called out to SAE J514.
