Product Questions & Answers (2)
Question by: Ricky M on Mar 16, 2026, 2:19 PM
Will this fitting hold up to hydraulic fluid, or is it more for air lines and stuff like that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 18, 2026, 11:30 AM
This 90-degree elbow is constructed from steel forging, so it's definitely made to handle hydraulic applications with a maximum dynamic pressure capacity of 6,000 psi. The NBR O-ring/seal material also helps ensure a secure seal.
Question by: Lyle C on Mar 29, 2026, 2:51 PM
i’ve got a hose end that’s 9/16-18 JIC, will this elbow mate up to that and still give me an o-ring boss on the other side?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 31, 2026, 6:17 AM
On the JIC side, it uses a male JIC SAE 37 degree flare with 9/16-18 threads (SAE J514). The other end is a male SAE adjustable O-ring boss with 3/4-16 threads (also SAE J514), and it seals with an NBR O-ring.
