Question by: Ray H on Feb 5, 2026, 8:52 AM
trying to swap out an old elbow fitting, is this one a right-angle adapter and is it the extra-long style?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 7, 2026, 6:15 AM
For tight routing and cleaner hose or tube runs, it is a 90 degree right-angle elbow adapter in an X-Long configuration, meant to give you a longer body than a standard elbow.
Question by: Troy S on Aug 28, 2025, 11:44 AM
Reckon this elbow fitting'll hold up okay in a hydraulic setup that's running pretty much constantly?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 29, 2025, 3:35 PM
This 90-degree elbow is built for durability, so it should provide consistent performance even with regular use. It's designed for industrial applications where stable connections are important.
Question by: Dale T on Jan 7, 2026, 6:30 AM
Does this elbow have any kind of thread sealant already on it, or do I need to bring my own tape and compound to the job?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 8, 2026, 1:40 PM
No sealant comes pre-applied, so you'll want to have your own thread sealing material on hand before you put it in. The fitting itself is straightforward to install once you've got your sealing method sorted out, and there are no adjustable or ratcheting parts to fuss with during assembly.
