This Brennan Industries adapter is a #6 MJIC X #10 MORB 45* forged steel fitting, part of the 6802-NWO-FG series. It features a male JIC SAE 37-degree flare on one end and a male SAE adjustable O-ring boss on the other. The thread specifications for the JIC side are 9/16-18 and SAE J514. The O-ring boss side has 7/8-14 threads and also meets SAE J514 standards.

With a centerline length of 0.880 mm and an overall length of 1.520 mm, this adapter uses an NBR O-ring seal for a secure connection.

Will this fitting work with standard JIC and O-ring boss connections?

what's the thread setup on this fitting, the two ends ain't the same size are they

Correct, they're two different thread types. One end is a #6 Male JIC with a 9/16-18 thread and a 37-degree flare, and the other is a #10 Male SAE Adjustable O-Ring Boss with a 7/8-14 thread. Both ends conform to SAE J514, so they'll mate up with standard hydraulic ports and hose ends built to that spec. The size difference is intentional for connecting lines of different sizes at a 45-degree angle.
