Designed for hydraulic tube and hose assemblies, the 08MJ-06MAORB 45 Deg Elbow provides a 45-degree directional change between a 1/2 in. O-ring face seal (ORFS) male JIC 37° flare connection and a 3/8 in. male O-ring boss (ORB) port end. This fitting type is commonly used in mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits where space constraints or routing requirements call for an angled transition between tube lines and threaded port connections.

The male ORB end seats against a port boss with an O-ring seal, offering a leak-resistant connection well suited to medium- and high-pressure hydraulic systems. Will this fitting work to connect a 1/2" JIC to a 3/8" ORB port on my hydraulic system?

This 45-degree elbow is designed to provide a directional change between a 1/2" O-ring face seal (ORFS) male JIC 37° flare connection and a 3/8" male O-ring boss (ORB) port end, so it should work for that.
