Forged from steel, the 16MAORB-16FP 90 Deg Elbow Forged provides a 90-degree directional change in hydraulic lines using a 1-inch male SAE adjustable O-ring boss (1-5/16-12, SAE J514) at one end and a 1-inch female NPSM connection (1-11½, SAE J476) at the other. The forged steel construction delivers the structural integrity expected in demanding hydraulic applications, while the NBR O-ring seal material supports reliable sealing across a broad range of hydraulic fluids.

With a centerline length of 2.250 inches, an overall length of 1.620 inches, and a hex size of 1.500 inches, this fitting is sized for 1-inch line connections. Manufactured by Brennan Industries under the 6805-Nwo-Fg series, it is subject to California Proposition 65 requirements.

Will this fitting work with regular pipe threads, or does it need a special kind?

This elbow uses a female NPSM connection on one side, which stands for National Pipe Straight Mechanical. It's designed to seal with a mechanical joint, not tapered threads, and the other side uses a male SAE adjustable O-ring boss.
