Male Connector

Description & Features

Constructed from brass, this 1/2 in. NPTF male to 1/2 in. hose/tube female Male Connector from Eaton Aeroquip is designed for use in instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The straight adapter configuration suits a range of inline connection requirements where a reliable threaded-to-hose transition is needed.

Eaton Aeroquip's Dura-Kote plating provides corrosion resistance suited to demanding service environments. The design meets operating pressures above SAE standards, making it appropriate where elevated pressure performance is a factor. A minimum working temperature rating of -65°F extends its suitability to cold-environment applications. With a 0.813 in. hex and 0.88 in. width, the fitting is compatible with standard tooling for installation.

Question by: Kent H on Sep 6, 2025, 6:00 PM
So, this is a brass fitting, right? Just making sure it's okay for hydraulic oil.
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 8, 2025, 10:24 AM
Yes, the Eaton Aeroquip adapter is made from brass, suitable for use in hydraulic systems.
Question by: Brent M on Feb 13, 2026, 2:54 PM
what's the material on this connector, and is it gonna hold up in a system that sees some moisture exposure?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 15, 2026, 7:27 AM
Brass construction with Dura-Kote plating gives this fitting solid corrosion resistance, so moderate moisture exposure in an instrumentation or hydraulic line setup is well within its wheelhouse. The plating is specifically there to push corrosion resistance above what you'd get from bare brass fittings.
