Question by: Melvin P on Jun 7, 2025, 7:01 AM
trying to swap out an elbow on my hose line, how do i know this one matches up?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 9, 2025, 6:06 AM
Match it by the thread types and sizes on each end. One side is a male SAE adjustable O-ring boss under SAE J514 with a 1-1/16-12 thread, and it seals with an NBR O-ring. The other side is a female NPSM swivel under SAE J476 with a 3/4-14 thread.

Will this fitting hold up with hydraulic oil, or is it meant for something else?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 23, 2025, 6:01 AM
This 45-degree elbow uses an O-ring seal made from NBR material, which is known for its resistance to oil and abrasion.
Question by: Glen P on Nov 8, 2025, 11:02 AM
What kind of seal material does this elbow use, and will it hold up running hydraulic oil through it regular?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 9, 2025, 2:39 PM
NBR is the seal material on this one, which handles oil exposure real well and has solid resistance to abrasion too. For standard hydraulic oil applications, that's a reliable choice that holds up under regular working conditions.
