Danfoss / Eaton Brass Adapter

Description & Features

Designed for instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, this brass 90° elbow adapter from Eaton Aeroquip connects a 3/8" NPTF male thread to a 3/8" female line/hose/tube end, making it a practical solution for directional changes in tight plumbing runs within industrial assemblies. The Danfoss / Eaton Brass Adapter is constructed from brass and features Dura-Kote plating for corrosion resistance suited to demanding service environments.

Rated for operating pressures exceeding SAE standards, this fitting is part of Eaton Aeroquip's broad adapter series, which offers hundreds of configuration styles for layout flexibility. A minimum working temperature of -65°F extends its usability across cold-environment applications. The 0.63" hex on the female end and a drop dimension of 0.93" support precise installation and routing in confined spaces.

Question by: Lynn F on Jul 25, 2025, 11:39 AM
what's the thread type on the male end of this fitting? trying to figure out if it'll work with my existing lines before I order
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 26, 2025, 1:28 PM
The male end is NPTF, which is a tapered pipe thread built for pressure-tight connections without relying on sealants alone. The female end accepts a line, hose, or tube connection. Both ends are 3/8 inch. If your existing hydraulic connections is running NPTF male ports, this elbow will mate up on the female side.
