Question by: Ray W on Apr 9, 2025, 12:45 PM
Will this fitting work for hooking up instrumentation lines?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 11, 2025, 7:33 AM
Yes, this Eaton Aeroquip adapter is applicable to instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Question by: Terry W on Jun 6, 2025, 7:53 PM
what's the thread type on the male end of this fitting, is it NPTF or just NPT?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 8, 2025, 6:47 AM
The male end is NPTF, which is the dry-seal version of the standard pipe thread. NPTF threads are cut to tighter tolerances than regular NPT, so they form a mechanical seal at the threads themselves without relying solely on tape or sealant. That matters in hydraulic and pneumatic lines where even a small seep can cause problems over time.
