Part of the Eaton Hansen FF Series, this carbon steel Socket is a female half quick disconnect coupling designed for flat face internal connection. It accepts a 1/4" BSPP port connection and features a sleeve lock safety mechanism for secure engagement during use. The coupling operates across a wide temperature range with a minimum working temperature of -13°F, making it suitable for demanding outdoor and mobile environments.

Rated to exceed ISO 16028 operating pressures and carrying a torque rating of 46.1 lb/ft, this unit is built for reliable performance in hydraulic and fluid transfer applications. Typical installations include construction equipment, agricultural machinery, utility vehicles, on-highway vehicles, and stationary in-plant fluid transfer systems. At the 3/8" size, it is also interchangeable with HTMA couplings. NBR+AU seals are standard, and no special tools are required for connect or disconnect.

got a flat-face setup on a skid steer, is this the female half and does it lock so it aint coming loose?

Built as the female half of a flat face quick disconnect, it uses a sleeve lock to help keep the connection secure once it is coupled.

does this socket work with HTMA couplings or is it its own separate system?

At the 3/8" size, it is interchangeable with HTMA couplings, so you can run it alongside existing HTMA setups without having to swap out your whole system. Outside of that size, that interchangeability is not listed, so stick to the 3/8" application if mixing the two is your goal.
