Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Kurt T on Jun 17, 2025, 12:18 PM
what kind of corrosion protection does this fitting have on it? running equipment outside year round and rust has been a real problem with the older hardware we got
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 19, 2025, 6:12 AM
Carbon steel fittings normally take a beating in wet or exposed conditions, but Eaton Aeroquip put a Dura-Kote plating on this one specifically to push back against corrosion. It's engineered to extend the overall life of the hose assembly, so if rust has been chewing through your current hardware, this should hold up considerably better over time.
Question by: Dwayne J on Apr 27, 2025, 3:17 PM
Will this fitting hold up in a high-pressure hydraulic system on farm equipment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 29, 2025, 6:25 AM
Dura-Kote plating provides superior corrosion resistance, which extends the life of the hose assembly, even under demanding conditions.
