This Eaton Aeroquip fitting is made from carbon steel with Dura-Kote plating. That plating gives it superior corrosion resistance, so it should hold up well in continuous use.
Question by: Jean W on Feb 7, 2026, 7:31 PM
what's the corrosion protection like on this fitting? running equipment out in some pretty rough conditions and can't have things rusting out on me
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 9, 2026, 6:23 AM
Carbon steel construction with Dura-Kote plating gives this fitting solid corrosion resistance. That plating is specifically there to extend service life in demanding environments, so it holds up better than bare steel in conditions where moisture and contaminants are a regular concern.
