Product Questions & Answers (1)
Question by: Shawn T on Sep 27, 2025, 8:06 PM
Got a -16 hose assembly running on some pretty rough equipment and need a fitting that ain't gonna rust out on me. This one got any kind of coating on it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 29, 2025, 9:55 AM
Dura-Kote plating covers the exterior, which holds up well against corrosion in tough working conditions. Carbon steel underneath gives it solid structural strength, and that plating is specifically there to stretch out the service life of the whole hose assembly. For equipment running in wet, dirty, or otherwise punishing environments, that combination does a real good job keeping the fitting from deteriorating prematurely.
