Question by: Freddie M on Mar 6, 2026, 1:12 PM
Got a -32 hose I need to terminate with a female JIC 37 swivel. this fitting gonna work for that application?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 7, 2026, 1:21 PM
Female JIC 37 swivel on a -32 hose dash size, that lines up exactly with what this fitting is built for. The end configuration is JIC 37 on one side and a line/hose/tube connection on the other, so it matches up to your hose termination without any adapters in between. Carbon steel construction with Dura-Kote plating keeps corrosion from being a problem in most field environments.

fitting says it's for 6-wire spiral hose, does that mean it won't work on a 4-wire assembly or is there some crossover there?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 22, 2025, 6:13 AM
Six-wire spiral fittings are matched specifically to high-pressure spiral hose constructions, and using one on a 4-wire assembly isn't a reliable swap. The crimp geometry and ferrule dimensions are built around the 6-wire hose OD and wall thickness. Running a mismatched fitting risks incomplete crimp engagement and potential blowoff under pressure, so sticking with the hose type this fitting is rated for is the right call.
