Description & Features

Rated for 600 psig WOG (cold non-shock) and 150 psig saturated steam, this B584-C84400 bronze ball valve is built for reliable shut-off in demanding industrial fluid control applications. The 70-100 Series Bronze Ball Valve features 1/4 NPT ports with a 0.37-inch orifice diameter and a Cv factor of 8.4, making it well-suited for moderate-flow control in compact installations.

Construction includes a chromium-plated B16 ball, RPTFE seats and stuffing box ring, and a blow-out proof stem design with an adjustable packing gland for long-term serviceability. Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Shane H on Apr 10, 2025, 6:45 AM
Does this valve hold up alright on steam lines, or is it strictly for water and oil service?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 11, 2025, 3:13 PM
For saturated steam, the pressure rating drops to 150 psig, so it's not a high-pressure steam application. Cold non-shock water, oil, and gas service is where it really shines, rated at 600 psig WOG. It'll also pull vacuum down to 29 inches of mercury, which is handy if your system swings both directions.
