Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Hubert H on May 11, 2025, 1:44 PM
Does this valve hold up alright on steam lines, or is it strictly a water and oil application?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 13, 2025, 8:00 AM
For saturated steam, the pressure rating drops to 150 psig, so it handles steam service but within that limit. Cold non-shock water, oil, and gas applications get the full 600 psig WOG rating. Vacuum service is also supported down to 29 inches of mercury. Just stay within those ratings based on what your line is actually running.
