The Danfoss / Eaton Ermeto 90˚ Union is designed for hydraulic instrumentation and chemical processing systems providing an excellent solution for high-pressure applications. This fitting eliminates the need for tube flaring and is suitable for use with extra heavy wall tubing.

Manufactured from AISI/SAE 12L14 carbon steel the fitting features a Weathercotereg; finish ensuring it effectively resists the effects of nonflammable hydraulic fluids. Its broad selection of sizes and styles allows for versatile applications.

With a temperature range from -65deg;F to +400deg;F at maximum operating pressures it has been effectively used at 800deg;F and 1000 psi to 4000 psi depending on the tube size. This fitting demonstrates excellent resistance to vibration enhancing its durability and reliability.

Conforming to ASA ASME and SAE specifications and standards it can be used with aluminum hard or half copper steel stainless steel and extra heavy wall tubing that cannot be flared.

does this fitting work with stainless steel tubing or just regular steel?

Stainless steel tubing is one of the compatible options for this fitting. It also works with aluminum, hard or half copper, regular steel, and extra heavy wall tubing that can't be flared. The flareless design is actually a big part of why it covers so many tubing types, including wall thicknesses that would be tough or impossible to flare in the field.
