The Eaton Aeroquip 7000 Series Ermeto Steel Flareless Tube Fitting is a reliable choice for high-pressure hydraulic, instrumentation, and chemical processing systems. Featuring a 0.25 inch tube OD union 90-degree elbow, this fitting eliminates the need for tube flaring and is specifically designed for use with extra heavy wall tubing. Constructed from AISI/SAE 12L14 carbon steel, it includes Eaton's exclusive Weathercote® finish, providing exceptional resistance to nonflammable hydraulic fluids.
With its excellent vibration resistance and broad compatibility with aluminum, copper, steel, and stainless steel tubing, this fitting meets the stringent specifications and standards of ASA, ASME, and SAE. Operating efficiently across a temperature range of -65°F to +400°F, it can also handle extreme conditions up to 800°F at pressures from 1000 psi to 4000 psi, depending on the tube size. Choose this robust component for dependable performance in demanding environments.

Excellent vibration resistance is one of the key features of the 7000 Series Ermeto fittings.

what kinda tubing does this fitting actually work with? got some stainless and some steel lines i'm trying to connect up
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 14, 2025, 6:38 AM
Stainless steel and regular steel tubing both work fine with this fitting. It's also compatible with aluminum, hard copper, and half-hard copper tubing, as long as the tubing has extra heavy wall thickness. The key thing is that the tubing cannot be flared, which is exactly what makes this style of fitting useful in those situations.
