7000 Series Ermeto Steel Flareless Tube Fitting, 0.38 Inch Tube OD Ferrule

Description & Features

Manufactured by World Wide Fittings International this fitting ensures reliable performance across various high-pressure hydraulic applications including construction machinery textile machinery machine tools chemical processing marine and military contexts. Note however these fittings are not suitable for instrumentation applications involving toxic or noxious gases.

Our 7000 Series Ermeto Steel Flareless Tube Fitting 0.38 Inch Tube OD Ferrule is ideal for applications using thick wall tubing where flaring isn't practical. The forged bodies straight bodies nuts and sleeves are constructed from robust materials including 12L14 and C1110 offering a durable and reliable solution.

Working pressures can soar up to 10 000 PSI although caution should be exercised as pressures vary depending on tube and fitting size. Designed to handle temperatures ranging from -30deg;F to 450deg;F note that straight thread fittings relying on O-Rings are limited to the temperature constraints of the O-Ring materials.

Question by: Peggy O on Mar 29, 2025, 7:04 AM
what kind of temps can these sleeves hold up to? running hydraulic lines on some heavy equipment and winters get pretty brutal out here
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 31, 2025, 6:49 AM
Rated from -30°F up to 450°F, so cold weather operation is well within range. One thing worth knowing: if your fitting configuration uses straight thread connections that rely on O-rings to seal, the upper temperature limit drops to whatever the O-ring material itself can handle, not the full 450°F rating. For standard heavy equipment hydraulic lines, you're in good shape across that full range.
Question by: Joyce H on Jul 12, 2025, 5:47 PM
So this thing will hold up in a machine shop environment, right? Lots of vibrations and temp changes.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 14, 2025, 6:08 AM
Designed for high-pressure hydraulic applications across industries like construction, textiles, and marine environments, this fitting is built to withstand significant vibration and temperature fluctuations between -30°F to 450°F.
