what kind of applications is this sleeve rated for, and does it hold up in marine or chemical setups?

What kind of temperatures can this ferrule handle? I work in a pretty hot environment.

This 7000 series Ermeto steel ferrule is rated to handle temperatures from -30°F all the way up to 450°F. Note that if you're using straight thread fittings with O-rings, the temperature range will depend on the O-ring material.
