This Ermeto Small Hex Union by Danfoss Power Solutions designed for hydraulic instrumentation and chemical processing systems is optimized for high-pressure applications. The fitting is crafted from AISI/SAE 12L14 carbon steel with a durable Weathercotereg; finish ensuring resistance to nonflammable hydraulic fluids.

Ideal for use with extra heavy wall tubing that cannot be flared this fitting meets ASA ASME and SAE standards. It accepts aluminum hard or half copper steel and stainless steel tubing making it a versatile solution for various materials.

Temperature ranges of -65deg;F to +400deg;F at maximum pressures confirm its reliability under extreme conditions with some applications allowing temperatures up to 800deg;F. The fittingrsquo;s robust design guarantees excellent vibration resistance.

Just want to make sure, this union fitting will work with steel tubing?

This fitting works with steel tubing, along with aluminum, hard or half copper, and stainless steel. It's also good for extra heavy wall tubing that you can't flare.

runs at pretty high pressures in our system, probably 3000 psi most days. this fitting gonna hold up to that or am i looking at the wrong part?

For most tube and fitting size combinations, the operating range on these runs from 1000 psi up to 4000 psi, so 3000 psi daily falls right in the middle of what this thing is built to handle. The Ermeto flareless design actually performs better under sustained high pressure than a lot of flared fittings do, partly because you're not relying on a flare seat that can fatigue or deform over time. Just make sure you're pairing it with extra heavy wall tubing, which is what this union is spec'd for.
