This connector is expertly designed for hydraulic instrumentation and chemical processing systems. Highly reliable under high pressure the fitting operates across a wide temperature range from -65deg;F to +400deg;F at maximum operating pressures.

Constructed from AISI/SAE 12L14 carbon steel with an exclusive Weathercotereg; finish it provides considerable resistance to the effects of nonflammable hydraulic fluids.

Meets ASA ASME and SAE specifications and standards fitting seamlessly into your operational needs. Operating pressures might reach 800deg;F and 1000 psi to 4000 psi depending on the tube size.

Will this fitting hold up with nonflammable hydraulic fluid?

fitting says it works on hydraulic instrumentation setups -- does it hold up to any real pressure or is it more of a light duty thing?

Pressure rating on this one depends on the tube size you're running with it, but the range goes from 1000 psi up to 4000 psi. For a quarter-inch tube OD setup connecting to a 1/8-27 male NPT port, that's a solid range for most instrumentation and chemical processing work. It's also rated to handle temperatures from negative 65 up to 400 degrees F under full operating pressure, and it's been used in applications reaching 800 degrees F at reduced pressure. Not a light-duty piece at all.
