The Danfoss / Eaton Ermeto Male Connector is designed for hydraulic instrumentation and chemical processing systems excelling in high-pressure applications. Constructed from AISI/SAE 12L14 carbon steel with a Weathercotereg; finish this fitting offers robust resistance against nonflammable hydraulic fluids. It supports temperatures ranging from -65deg;F to +400deg;F and can operate at pressures from 1000 psi to 4000 psi contingent on tube size.
Featuring a 0.38-inch tube OD and 3/8-18 male NPT thread the fitting adheres to ASA ASME and SAE standards without requiring tube flaring. Suitable for use with aluminum hard or half copper steel stainless steel and extra heavy wall tubing this product promises reliable performance.
Noteworthy for its vibration resistance the fitting's broad selection of sizes and styles ensures compatibility with various high-pressure requirements. With a straight male connector design it meets rigorous industry standards for durability and functionality.

So, this'll hold up alright with hydraulic fluid, right? Don't want any surprises down the line.

This Eaton Aeroquip fitting uses AISI/SAE 12L14 carbon steel with Weathercote finish, which provides good resistance against nonflammable hydraulic fluids.
Question by: Hugh G on Sep 8, 2025, 5:45 PM
fitting says it works with stainless steel tubing, does that include heavier wall stuff or just standard?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 10, 2025, 8:42 AM
Extra heavy wall tubing is actually one of the key use cases for this fitting. The flareless design exists specifically because heavy wall tubing can't always be flared reliably. Aluminum, hard or half copper, steel, stainless steel, and extra heavy wall tubing are all listed as compatible, so you've got solid options across the board.
