A straight steel adapter combining a 3/4-16 Male JIC SAE 37-degree flare (SAE J514) on one end with an M18x1.5 male metric thread on the other, the 08MJ-18MM Straight With Bonded Seal bridges JIC and metric hydraulic circuits in a compact, inline configuration. The bonded seal, Brennan part 8800-18, provides a reliable face seal on the metric end, and the NBR o-ring material offers broad compatibility with common hydraulic fluids.

Will this bonded seal work with regular hydraulic fluid, or do I need something special?

The NBR o-ring material in the bonded seal is compatible with common hydraulic fluids, so you should be good to go with your standard stuff.
