Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Lyle M on Sep 16, 2025, 3:50 PM
Flow rate on this one says 120 LPM, is that enough for press and machine tool work, or is this more of a lighter-duty valve?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 17, 2025, 8:05 PM
For most press and machine tool setups, 120 litres per minute is a solid working range. This valve covers those applications directly, along with die casting, foundry work, marine and offshore environments, turbine control, and test equipment. It handles three- or four-way directional control, so it fits a pretty wide range of circuit configurations. If your system is running within that flow capacity, you're in good shape for the applications listed.
Question by: Marvin G on Feb 26, 2026, 4:32 PM
Can this valve handle the kind of crud you find in a die casting operation?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 28, 2026, 6:04 AM
Designed for applications including die casting and foundries, this Vickers directional control valve should hold up well under typical operating conditions.
