what's the corrosion protection like on this sleeve, carbon steel usually rusts out on me pretty quick in tough conditions
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 8, 2025, 6:30 PM
Carbon steel can be a real concern in wet or harsh environments, but this sleeve uses Dura-Kote plating specifically to fight that. It's a surface treatment built for superior corrosion resistance, so it holds up better than plain carbon steel fittings would on their own. For demanding field conditions, that plating is what separates it from lower-grade options.
