Got a 3525VQ series vane pump that finally gave up on us after years of hard use. This the F3-3525VQ38A21 11CC20R a straight drop-in for that series, or is there fitment stuff I need to sort out first?

Same series, same family. The F3-3525VQ38A21 11CC20R is built to the 3525VQ platform, so if you're pulling a pump from that line, this one slots in without a lot of headache on the fitment side. Cast iron housing and Viton seals are what you're working with here, so just make sure your existing setup is compatible with Viton before you button everything back up.
